Outcome of the expanded EXCO meeting held today Sunday 25th march 2018 at 100 Brickfield road EB lagos. The meeting commenced at 2:10 pm with an opening prayer offered by Ekorian Yomi Agboola (BODAS 70 set). A minute silence was observed in honour of our departed President Emeritus Ekorian Idowu Sofola,followed by the 2nd stanza of the school song.Ekorian Kola Ibirogba, President BODAS 70 reported about the outcome of the role played by Ekorians at the funeral of our departed president at Ikenne. He stated that despite the short notice, Ekorians present were more than 30 and played active role to the delight of the family and others present.
The summary of decisions taken is as follows: 1. A full page colour obituary of our departed president in punch newspaper @ N600,000.0 ( 2 ) 4 roll up banners @ N100,000.0 (3 ) 3000 branded bottles of water in honour of our departed president @N200,000.0 (4 ) Miscellaneous N100,000.0 Total = N1m. The 8th day prayer is also slated for Saturday 31st March, 2018 at Ikenne, while the 40th day comes up on Sunday 6th may 2018.These two events mentioned above are to be graced by Ekorians in full force.Meeting ended at 3:00pm. with a motion of adjournment moved by Ekorian Kayode Elliot (81/82) and supported by Ekorian Roberts of BODAS 70.
