EKOBA team visits Mushin LG Chairman, seeks help on drainage blockages around EBHS

The National Executive of the Eko Boys High School Old Boys Association (EKOBA) on Wednesday 3rd August 2022, visited Mushin Local Government Chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye on a thank you visit.

The Exco visit was led by Ekorian Engr. Tito Ganiyu Nurudeen, EKOBA National VP-2 and Ekorian Temitope Oluwabiyi, EKOBA National Publicity Secretary.

Speaking at the chairman’s office, Ekorian Tito Nurudeen, thanked the LG Chairman for the drainage desilting work done so far, which has resulted in the free flow of wastewater from the Erikitola lane down to Alamutu. He also pleaded with the LG Chairman to extend similar desilting  efforts to Labinjo Street from Agege Motor Road and other adjoining streets. A comprehensive list of streets was thereafter handed over to the Chairman.

The Chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Bamigboye, in his response, appreciated the visit and promised to seriously consider the list. He also used the medium to appeal to the residents of the affected areas to desist from dumping refuse in drainage channels.

The EKOBA team had earlier met with Mr. F.O. Agbaje who is Deputy Director/HOD Environmental Health Services, Mushin Local government, on the need to sensitize inhabitants of the streets around EBHS to properly dispose their refuse. The HOD pledged to send his team to the area for assessment and enforcement actions within a week.

A second visit is under consideration for next Wednesday, August 10. In addition to the National VP-2 and the PRO, the entourage will include among others:
